Lorenzo Doss could intercept a roster spot

^ nice write up, but lol you really don’t think Bradberry is a lock to make the roster?

I actually think he starts and will be good--but if he does not fit into a man scheme, or if he continues to grade poorly, he could be challenged and fall down the depth chart.- I would probably call him a lock to remain in the league, but not on the roster.   I have been defending Bradberry all winter, so I am not a hater.  I think he is smooth and smart.  I can't wait to see if they put him into a position to succeed--and I think they will.  I doubt they would cut him, but they could trade him if he falls down the depth chart.

He also gave up quite a few big plays today. Was getting g picked on. Don't judge a book by its interception on a horrible qb

Belated response--I was afraid of that---while he has had similar success in college  and in Denver's camp, he has the reputation as you state--didn't Norman have the same concerns (gambling)?  In other words, do you think he is coachable, or is he all-practice and nothing more?

  • At the Broncos camp last year, he was awesome.  One reporter tweeted during a scrimmage with SF, " Another pick 6 for Lorenzo Doss! That's 9 picks in camp so far. "

I think a lot of people on here are too high on Jackson at the moment. Until I see him go up against a grown man NFL receiver, I will question his prospect as legitimate starting CB in this league due to his small stature.

But that's just my opinion of him and I'm still slightly salty we passed over Oliver for him but I've been wrong before.

I am nervous about Jackson too.  It is a bit odd that (from my perspective) he seems to be getting more attention than Moore.  If Jackson emerges as the real deal and Moore delivers as advertised, I think this draft will go down as one of the best.  However, I would not like wearing the "Hurney' 2nd Round Selection"  T-shirt.

I genuinely see 4 players from this draft becoming starters very early in their careers.   (Moore, Gaulden, Jackson, and Thomas).  I also find Haynes and Norton to be interesting developmental projects.  The problem, however, with developmental projects is that if they do not develop by the time you have to make decisions, you often find they play somewhere else after you spent a lot of time and energy on them.

Oliver was a great man cover in college too, just didn’t run a 4.2 40. So pissed he went to the falcons

Everybody gets cut for a reason.  There is strong evidence to suggest his reason was missing meetings--but that probably would have been tolerated if he were in their plans.

Here is what some of you are missing.  Different schemes require different skill sets.  Now, Doss is not on my 53-man roster, but if you want to judge him based on production behind 3 good CBs, you might overlook a diamond in the rough.

If we cut Josh Norman after year 2, and that was a possibility, you would have called him trash.  Two years later, he is in the pro bowl.  A year after that---Dancing with the Stars.  And you aholes would have cut the Dancing with the Stars finalist.  Silly sofa scouts.
