NBA Mock draft

I know we always do it on the Football board.  People making their predictions and mocks

So I figured to try on here to

Im only doing the top 15

1. Suns: DeAndre Ayton- no brainer, best player in draft.  Compares to Demarcus Cousins

2. Kings: Marvin Bagley- good athlete long frane and has a Jumper.  Reminds me of Chris Bosh

3. Atlanta: Jaren Jackson- they just need talent.  Jackson and Collins create a solid front court.  There are rumors that the hawks would pass on Doncic for a Center.

4. Memphis: Luka Doncic- they think they hit the jackpot.  Doncic paired with Conley will look nice.

5. TRADE! Cleveland jumps up.  In attempt to keep King James happy and try to talk him to stay home. Cavs ship off JR Smith (who Lebron isnt to happy with) and 2019 1st for the #5 spot and Wesley Matthews.

Cavs jump Orlando to grab Trae Young.  Lebron is a big fan of Young.  Young is compared by some to Curry, a good shooter and scorer.  Wesley is also a good shooter.  Lebron now has his own version of the splashes brothers.

6. Orlando: Colin Sexton

7. Bulls: Michael Porter jr- HUGE risk/reward.  May have been a top 3 guy if it weren't for the injury. Tall forward gives bulls options.  He can play the 3.  Or they can go more athletic and play him at the 4 with Markkanen at the 5

8. Dallas: Mohammed Bamba- Bomba doesnt go far staying in Texas.  Dallas moves back picking up a future 1st and still getting their big man.

9. Knicks: Mikal Bridges

10. Philly: Miles Bridges- athletic stretch 4.  Same size and better athlete than Draymond Green was coming out.  Him and Joel Embid at the 4 and 5 combined with Simmons at the 3 and Fultz at the 1.

11. Hornets: Kevin Knox- MKG is a solid defender but thats it.  He needs to be coming off the Bench.  Knox also has the versatility where he can play a stretch 4 if wanting to play small ball.

12. Clippers: Wendell Carter jr- had a nice big man duo untio they traded Griffin.  Now adding another big with a jumper.

13. Clippers: Lonnie Walker

14. Denver: Shai Gileous Alexander

15. Washington: Robert Williams

Nice mock. I will play.

Suns: Ayton - Played in Arizona and will continue to play in Arizona

Kings: Doncic - Team him up with De'Aaron Fox or with Buddy Hield. Pass first guy which is a good pair with either one.

Atlanta: Jaren Jackson - Nice fit for this team. They drafted John Collins at PF last year. Don't see Bagley as a fit this year.

Memphis: Bagley - They would have been happy with either Jackson or Bagley

Mavericks: Mo Bamba - What they were hoping Noel would have been

Orlando: Mikal Bridges - Cliff probably wants to trade back and get proven 3 and D guy Mikal Bridges and it is probably too early for their PG (Sexton/SGA) but to not do trades they make the surprise pick of Bridges even though they have a ton of wings.

Bulls: Wendell Carter: They need to upgrade most every position. But this is glaring. Need to upgrade from Robin Lopez.

Cavs: Trae Young - IF Lebron leaves, Cleveland gets an exciting young player. If Lebron stays, he gets another deep shooter.

Knicks: Miles Bridges - Knicks need toughness which is what Bridges will bring.

76ers: Porter Jr - Hornets fans are sad as one of the higher potential players gets swiped away one pick before them. Porter Jr continues the Philly tradition of shooting for the stars.

Hornets: Knox - Hornets front office will be sad if they are in this position. They were hoping one of Wendell Carter, Miles, Mikal or Porter would fall. Since they didn't the choice will be between SGA, Sexton and Knox. Mitch goes for potential with Knox.

I do not see Cleveland trading JR Smith, he has two years left on his atrocious deal, plus, he's going on 33 years old. No way any team takes that clown off of Clevelands hands.

If it involves gathering a future 1st they would.  Plus the Matthews contract about equals it out just he has 2 years left.

Dallas is a team who is willing to take a risk.  Dennis Smith was thought to had a few teams nervous about drafting him hence why he fell to them. But Dallas didnt care amd grabbed him.

Dennis Smith, JR Smith, Barnes, and a big they draft sets up a decent core

Good effort on both mocks.  I would not be bummed with Knox as I love his upside, size and scoring ability.

I think the front office is probably wanting Carter or one of the Bridges to fall.

Personally I am not in love with anybody around our pick but in order:

1. Porter Jr: My dream

2. Mikal Bridges

3. Wendell Carter

4. Knox

5. Miles Bridges

6. SGA

I don't think Cleveland would throw away a future first with LeBron possibly headed out. So, na. Your trade wouldn't happen.

    • It didn’t feel like we’re the Bills bc we’re not a consistent conference contender yet we’re a rebuilding team. But with the game on the line we played just like the Bills went straight down the field and scored a tuddy then converted a 2pt conversion I have to give credit where credit is due. And the chiefs played us like we were the Bills in an AFC championship game, drive down the field and kicked a walk off FG to win at the end very similar to me. Are saying our defense stunk yesterday? Vs an elite offense team with elite coaching an elite QB man idk what you want them to do. KC does these things to the best defenses in the league consistently to win AFC chips and Super Bowls let’s not devalue who they are. I saw us play KC to the wire and barely lose defense did its thing as much as it could. Bingo!!! We’re also forgetting how injured we’ve been defensively this year, yes we need to build up the D but adding a few pieces and D Browns successful rehab should make us a very strong unit again. Couple that with the offense we saw yesterday and we’re winning our division.
    • Canales deserves a lot of credit. I'm very pleased. He's definitely making strides with Bryce. I also think some of his lack of commitment to Bryce as the starter is to motivate Bryce. I think he liked what he saw when Bryce was benched.  Even the Defense looks tremendously better with just a couple more pieces getting healthy. Wonnum has made our pass rush viable again.  I would love to see this team with one more good player across the defensive front, DT or an edge rusher.
    • I didn’t see any limitations yesterday
