Steve Smith was such a great competitor.  I hated when Gettleman released him.  Regardless of whether Cam liked him or not.  Or if it was hindering Cam's development.  We needed Smitty during those times.  

I was fortunate to be at one of his most dominating games.   I remember Fred Smoots talking trash how he was going to shut Smitty down.  I don't think Fred knew what he was about to do.  He released an animal and Smitty put up 200 yds receiving on him.  30 October 2005.   An amazing game.  Fred Smoots was never the same after that game.

If you tried to get into his head, he eventually got into yours.  

Amazing Player.  Should have a statue and be honored like a king when we put him in the ring of fame.

Steve Smith is a complete nutjob who routinely beat the whale poo out of his own teammates.  Any normal citizen would have been in prison for repeated assault.  Why in the world does anyone glorify that idiot?
