Makes perfect sense IMO.

Funny thing is, I traded for his ass in my second season of Madden , cost way more then a 7th, but it makes so much sense, kid has talent

So everyone is getting all worked up over a QB that is gonna get cut.  So what if he came from the SEC.  All QBs from the SEC aren't NFL superstars, sorry to tell ya.

I would like it, especially for a 7th.  He didn't necessarily live up to the hype at UT (not all his fault), but he is a good ball player..  Also a rocket scientist.

I like Gilbert.... I think their is a myth of Cam being a duel threat QB and now that effects the play book. Besides the designed run plays our playbook is 100% a regular pocket passing offense. Not saying we can’t take a flier on a guy known for scrambling or what not but we don’t need to give those guys a leg up imo. Also I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Gilbert for what it’s worth. I think he will play well in preseason.
