Curtis Samuel might be the breakout player this year

Torrey Smith better show that he is going to produce at a high level if these youngsters are looking that good so far. Smith's salary could make him a cap casualty if he gets passed on the depth chart, especially if he doesn't contribute on special teams. $5M is a lot for a complimentary player when we have options.

I was replying to your statement but let me clarify so we can be on the same page. "Serious expectations" in definition may differ between us I expect 5-700 yards atleast combined. I expect him to make a big play (20+yards) from game to game while being in a rotation. I feel like he may be able to play the stretch the field role consistently and if so that in itself is a major impact and serious expectations im looking for this season. I don't feel like he gets a pass or has a injury year excuse AT ALL the man played in week 2 and week 12 he missed some time but received plenty of tutelage. He's actually had more time to learn then actually play so I expect him to fully ready to contribute weekly I'm not sure what you consider serious expectations I thought it meant out there performing on a weekly basis making a impact wether he's our number 3 or 4 or shoots ip to number 2 by chance.

I agree with pretty much all of what you said here. I was just passing on what I heard Steve say (not word for word) including that people shouldn't have serious expectations for CS this year. That wasn't my opinion and in fact I kinda of disagreed hearing him say that but gave him the benefit of the doubt because you know......he's Steve Smith.

we gotta be keeping 6 WRs and 3 RBs over 5 WRs and 4 RBs like the past. Samuel can take over Fozzy's role and do a lot more

Would like to keep 6 WRs... but this team loves RBs...

Where does Armah fit in the 3 RB equation?

CMC and CJ are locks. CAP is ok depth, knows the system, can be inactive unless needed. Can Armah make the roster at some other position? TE3?
