For like the thousandth time: It doesn't matter during the off-season. Like, completely doesn't matter.

indeed, theres hardly anything team related to talk about till it gets alot closer to the start of the pre season.

I'd like to know the full story behind this. The only voice provided is that of the guy on the receiving end of the dumbbell. Even with roid rage, you aren't going to do what Incognito did without some sort of trigger. Something had to have been said by the individual who is claiming he wasn't doing anything but working out.

That might be true, but to act like nobody does anything unless they are provoked is a little naive, especially when the person in question has almost a decades long history of issues like Incognito.  Would be interested in what any bystanders observed.

His issues are blown out of proportion, based on what I know of him. I just can't see a dude sitting there, benching, and then have a dumbbell thrown at him for no reason. I don't like the way this story was approached because the journalists failed to seek out other opinions on what occurred.

Maybe put it this way:  I am sure that Incognito feels he had a reason.  I am less confident that his reason would be in any way compelling to most people.

All they actually have right now is an initial report. Truth be told, Incognito isn't a big enough story to merit deep-diving.

And while I get what you're saying, we are talking about a guy with a history that goes way back. Would we ask if the lady he harassed with a golf club did something to deserve it?  For that matter, what did his car say to him to deserve having a baseball bat taken to its windshield?

Heck, for that matter, what exactly could someone say that would make them deserve having a dumbbell thrown at them?

This is a guy who's done a lot of despicable things. Frankly, if this ends badly for him, I don't expect him to get a lot of sympathy. Certainly not from his past victims (and there are a few of those).
