People get bit by a poodle - the blame the individual owner and/or dog

 

A person gets bit by a Pitt bull and deems the breed as violent and dangerous.

 

Now substitute poodle for white person and Pitt Bull for black person - and you have racism.  the superiority is believing your own race is more refined and it is just individuals with problems not a race wide issue.

Why do you think news stations bring up race talk? = ratings 

I haven’t listened to WFNZ today but I’m sure they are all over the anthem talk because it evolves into a discussion about race, which equals a ton of people listening and calling in.

Okay I do a lot of work in my city on systemic bias and privilege.  I am white.  recognizing what society is for a white male is not being ashamed -its trying to find a way to garner empathy and understanding so I can help (heck use my privilege at times even and acknowledge I am) break those systems down.

No, it means, we had no choice of being born white.  Have you not done research on who spread it, and why? It has been deemed by many people as not racist, as the same as racist. 

Now some groups have used the message with ill intent, but that dosnt mean the phrase means the same to some.  If the members of the KKK drove Hondas, would I think Honda is racist? The Media is soley responsible for making the slogan stand for racism... it did not start out that way.

OK, I get it. So when they say we should understand that “It’s OK to be white” is a self-affirmation just like “Black lives matter,” should we object?

And since the sun rose over the horizon the day after the Jamestown, Va., settlers set foot on American soil and began infecting this land with their imagined Caucasian sovereignty, there has never been a moment in the history of this country, dare I say of the entire continent, when it has not been OK to be white.

i would absolutely love to know how much of your own time and money you have donated to wounded warriors, the VA, or any of the other numerous charities or organizations here to help our vets and families of vets that didn’t make it home. Hypocrites.
