psl ticket sales question

ChickenCoop

Recommended Posts

long time no post and apologize if this isn't in the correct spot.

a buddy and myself just purchased psl's after many years kicking tires.

to soften the blow of big bucks in year 1 (psl's & tickets) - we were debating selling half the games to lessen our total $ on tickets for the year.

question for current owners - since tickets aren't in hand until later in the summer- is the best option for resell the Ticketmaster exchange? are their other options (like say stubhub)?

the previous owner is a friend & has paid for the 2018 season, though we will have to pay for tickets once it hand. we're trying to tag team & sell what we can ahead of time.

thanks for any advice.

The ticketmaster exchange is great - you can have the money come to you directly or get put into your account since they are linked. I sold 2 sets of tickets last year, the preseason Steelers (because well above face value for Squeeler fans in the preseason is great!) and the Eagles game since I thought I was going to be out of town; and it was sure nice to have that in the account to defray this years ticket costs.

Roaring Riot is going to implement a ticket exchange for RR members this year.  Purpose is for Panthers fans to sell to other Panthers fans at face value to keep opposing team fans out of BOA.

I hope that riot system works... don’t think people will be willing to take ALOT less a ticket. People are not going to sell tickets to the Dallas games for $105, they could get $200 for.  Honestly if you want face value tickets you should just suck it up and buy psls

Unless the team starts losing. Ticket prices in Charlotte are directly proportionate to the W-L record.

I am a PSL owner that wants Panthers fans in the seats at BOA.  I have sat through too many games over the years surrounded by opposing team fans.  I have always tried to sell my unused tickets to Panthers fans and have kept the cost at face value or not much more.  This season I will be putting my unused tickets on the RR ticket exchange to help the RR mission of Panthers fans owning BOA and helping Panthers fans obtain tickets without being scalped.  As long as I get what I paid for the tickets it is fine with me.  By the time the season rolls around the $$ for the tickets has been long gone!

Personally I love the experience of nfl football, even when we suck. I mean yea in years like 2010 I can probably go to 8 games for $110.  But in 2015, I couldn’t afford to go to a home game, so I saved up to buy my first psls. I personally give away my tickets to friends if I don’t go so I won’t be using this service either way.

We go to every game sitting through every season and every game to the bitter end.  2010 was a hard season but we went to every home game!  Whew!  I have 4 PSLs so can have extra tickets and still be at the games.  For family and friends I don't ask for reimbursement.  Or if I do (usually because they insist) it is at a very reduced rate like 2 tickets for the price of 1.  I love providing the opportunity for fans to experience a game especially those with kids that might not be able to afford it otherwise.  It is alot of fun to attend games with a kid at their first NFL game.  Making memories.  I will use the service when I can't find anyone that can use the tickets.  One of my great-nephews is almost old enough to come to as many games as he wants.  He will be 5 this season.  Came to one game the past 2 seasons with one of his parents with him.  He is a die-hard!!

    • One has a proven, offensive-minded, Super Bowl winning head coach along with a top 5 OL + defense. He's being protected and getting the ball back not having to chase the other teams. The other had Frank Reich + Thomas Brown their rookie year with a bottom 5 defense as well as a bottom 5 OL that gave up the 2nd most sacks against a rookie QB ever. The sophomore season is being ran with a top 5 OL but also with a rookie HC (that has just one year of OC experience) and a bottom 5 defense still. The Broncos defense has allowed over 20pts just three times this season (26 vs. SEA (L), 23 vs. LAC (L), 41 vs. BAL (L)). Meanwhile, the Panthers have had ONE game where the defense gave up less than 20pts (vs. NYG (W)).   I'm not sure how folks couldn't expect Bo Nix to statistically perform better given their incredibly different situations. With that said, I didn't expect Nix to keep ascending as impressively as he has this season. Hopefully his arc will give other older college QBs a better shot, especially given the recent media blitz against the NFL regarding how development of the QB position in the league seems to be non-existent. Hopefully Bryce continues to improve as well, of course.
    • “You can learn a lot in 10 games,” Nix said. “[I’m] still learning, still growing, but just finding ways to execute the play that’s called, no matter what it is: run play, pass play. It doesn’t matter. Just finding the right way to go with the ball.” To that point, Nix noted how his developing partnership with head coach Sean Payton has helped Denver’s offense get to the next level. “To be honest, I think at the beginning, you kind of make the NFL bigger than what it actually is,” Nix said when asked where he feels he’s made the most strides. “These players are really good, but at the same time, you have really good players on your level. I think simplifying the game, trying to play as fast as possible, and finding a completion, which is what we’ve been able to do here recently. “I think as we’ve gone on, Coach and I have found a good rhythm of what we both like, what we can kind of put out there on the field, and what we can execute. Then the guys have kind of adapted to it, found our roles within the offense, and executed at a high level. It’s just all about slowing the game down and processing things in a manner that you can handle. Just kind of see one or two things, and let those guys take you to where the ball is supposed to be.” -Bo Nix From what I'm gathering regarding Bryce, the Panthers entered this season with a reset mindset. It's Young's rookie year, which explains the benching. Now, we're beginning to see the development of Canales and Young's offense. Slow development but we're winning 😃
    • Bix has more tds through his first 11 games than bryce has his entire career....no comparison at all he made amazing throws during his first games his decision making just keeps getting better.  Young does not have the physical ability ro make the rhrows bo makes
