PFF Says the likes of Dak Prescott, Marcus Mariota, and Tyrod Taylor + 2 more are better running quarterbacks than Cam

Does it look like they are actually grading on running plays that are specifically from drop backs? The reason I ask is that Cam had 139 rushes in 2017 but that chart lists only 30 "Runs." Is there more information about the running grade calculation? Do they differentiate between designed runs, runs from dropbacks, etc? That would definitely have a big impact on their grading.

I noticed that, and started to comment on it but rushed the post. They don't have any signature stats for QBs running. The only runs they have listed for QBs are right there. I would assume that means they only grade QBs for scrambles on pass plays, but that's my own assumption.

Yeah, that is kind of what I am thinking too. Which would mean that in their ratings, Cam would probably also have a separate grade as a rusher. That's interesting. I might actually email them about that to see if I can discern what it all means.

It would make sense, as most of the QBs above him are a bit more "elusive".

He did have the second highest run grade they've given a QB, in 2012, behind Vick's 2009 season.

So what is the reason to leave off Rodgers and Hundley in the tweet?  Both graded out in top 5 according to their list.  Can't be amount of games started since Watson is on the list but started less games than either Rodgers or Hundley.  Hundley has more rushing attempts listed by their standard of running attempts than Watson.  Not sure what they may be using to remove them from the top 5 on their tweet.  And here I thought @saints4lifeagain posting their full rankings would help clear some poo up.  Thanks for the info though @saints4lifeagain

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Thought maybe it was carries, but Hundley hits that number too. Not entirely sure. Usually they had a minimum number of attempts to their tweet, but didn't in this case.

This did prove to be a much more confusing issue than expected.
