What kind of incentives can a ST player earn? He surely isn’t getting any WR snaps

That being said, his play as a ST gunner helped make our ST units one of the best in the league last year. That's likely why he was signed.

His role on the field will likely be as a gunner. Doubt he'd get serious snaps as a WR anytime soon unless he miraculously fixes his non-existent hands.

I'm not positive, but I remember DG saying the Sheppard signing was for ST and he could contribute as a WR, I could have that backwards, but I never views him as a WR the whole time he was here because of that, not sure why some people did. Yea, it'd be nice to have a player who can play ST, but when you can get a great ST player who can play a position of need, that's not bad either, we'd just rather it be the other way around
