Offensive Rookie of the Year Candidates Moore #9

Wouldn't this be awesome.

It's possible.  If used properly by Turner Moore could surprise a lot of people.   I think we have enough weapons that Moore won't face double coverage too much.  His ability to gain YAC will improve his chances.

Thought?

I think he has a legit shot. Obviously the favorite going into the season is gonna be Barkley, but aside from him I don’t think any other rookie has a better shot than Moore unless one of the rookie QBs plays very well.

Typical Dallas loving article.  Who would have thought they would list Michael Gallup #1 over Barkley.

With the way that the ball is spread around in this offense, I don't believe that Moore will have a legit shot at OROY (which is fine with me). If he does, it will likely mean that he is balling beyond expectations (which is also fine with me). I am just looking for an impact. It's been so long, that I've forgotten what a Panthers offense looks like with multiple threats to take it to the house on any ol' play.  Moore, Samuel and maybe even Thomas should help that out tremendously, but as a unit.

In any given year, the top WR taken in the draft should always automatically be considered a contender for OPOY...regardless of what situation he’s coming into, unless he’s truly drafted entirely for potential. The fact that this article has him at #9, behind several mid-round receivers, is insulting if anything. Not that I care about asinine predictions like these, but I’m confused as to how you would be excited by an article like this.

Excited?  Where do you get that I was excited?  I simply said wouldn't it be awesome.  If used properly he could rack up some good numbers.  I think that is a fair assessment.

Ridley.... But that's simply because the system they run and Julio will always get the coverage rolled to his side
