This sounds like something Uzi Vert would put out. Your son is like 20 or 21 right? This is the type of music I’d expect from that age range.

Its cool, but I liked his first track more. The content is cool, and your boy knows how to make a song. He’s just gotta craft something that will stand out. This isn’t it, but I honestly feel he’s close.

I'll be the contrarian and say that I think I liked this one a little more than the first.

I'd agree that, initially at least, my first thought was that the autotune/talkbox effect was a little overdone. But then, I think it plays really well with the odd beat.

It's still very commercial, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since that seems like that's what he's catering to/shooting for right now.

I know it is kind of a one-off track in that, structurally, it isn't necessarily a stand alone song. It's more of an interlude tbqh, but I I thought it was well done overall.

He's definitely talented, and if he hooks up with the right crew around him (producers, promoters, etc.) he could gain some notoriety.

I, personally, feel Pusha got him but some of the stuff said was mighty low. It all stems from Drake mentioning his fiancé Virginia Williams. All I know is if he said what he said about my mom, I would’ve had to pay him a visit.

Anyways, it’s been a week and no response from Drake, although James Prince says Drake had a response, it just would’ve ended Kanye’s career *shrugs*. I don’t know. Agree completely.  Even within this style of rap it's the ones that have something unique about their voice or delivery that break through. Your boy's talented but he does himself a disservice trying to ride the wave instead of making it his own.

Yeah at two minutes it's only half a song at best. He would do really well in a collaboration with other artists that have contrasting styles.

Yeah I don't get this. Ether is considered the gold standard of diss tracks and if we're being real it's ignorant and petty as hell. Gay slurs are cool but Pusha's mean for calling out Drake's secret family? Lol. Really just highlights how he demolished the dude. Only criticism people can come up with is "maybe it was too good of a diss?"

Anyway, Drake's a popstar and this beef clearly won't effect his numbers but his rap legacy is now dead and gone. Meek brought it into question with the ghostwriting reveal and this beef buried it. He likely end up the best selling hip hop artist of all-time, but Push effectively killed his chances at being considered a top emcee in the same breadth as Jay, Nas, Biggie, Pac, etc.  He's officially been delegated to Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber's lane.
