If you are leasing, then it seems to me the brand of vehicle would be irrelevant.  Dependability for almost all newer vehicles is good, its only after four or five years that vehicle manufacturing quality really comes into play.  And anything that breaks would be covered under warranty.  What difference does it make if Honda's last 20 years while some other brand only last 10 years before major maintenance, if you are only going to have it for five years?

 

If you are leasing, then I would say look at vehicle safety, then cost, then how much you like the looks, the ride, etc....
