If everyone can get a stick out of their ass they have to admit that JR has done a relatively good job and none of us would be here talking Panthers football today without him.

to those that hate on Jerry over the sexual harassment.

First is if I did what he did I’d be fired. There is no excuse and he shouldn’t have done it.

secondly he paid the victim an agreed upon amount for what he did, whether you like it or not nothing he did was criminally wrong, he paid the price and when it came to light the NFL.

So with that said thank you Jerry for what you did in bringing NFL football to Charlotte and the Carolinas and thanks for all the fond memories I have of the team because of you!

imo the statue should stay.

There would have been a team here with or without him, it may have taken longer but it was going to happen.    And the PSL owners are as much to thank as JR.

I see the trolls are out today.

I expected anger and those that are not thankful for JR - they have been following the media's lead with pitchforks in hand.  I am not judging or commenting on his actions - I am thanking him for The Carolina Panthers...my favorite team.   You may think whatever you wish, but I for one am super thankful for the team and stating this thanks is only trolling for those that want to tear him down further.

Thanks for bringing the team here.  Thanks for a couple of thrilling years, regardless of how they ended.  And thanks for Bojangles steak biscuits and seasoned fries.  They were my go to hangover meal when I drank a lot.  Although that was probably before you owned them.

As far as the other stuff, hope you learned your lesson, and make amends for it.

Sad ending, but still grateful to JJR for bringing us a team. No excuse for his actions, but it doesn't erase all the good he has done over 2 plus decades of founding & owning the team.

I personally think the statue should stay since it's meant to comemerate him bringing the NFL to the Carolinas. You can't erase him from the history of this team. Good people occasionally do bad things and make mistakes.

And we will see how much the team cares for those PSL owners if/when there is a new stadium. Many people who have been “life long” owners will have a rude awakening when they can’t transfer or get the same “value” of what their tickets are now.

But without them we wouldn’t be where we are now. NFL didn’t believe we had a backing then, and it showed them. So it’s a double edge sword

Hahahahahahahahahha. Thank you big cat for the following.

1. Thank you for always putting the league and this shield before the Panthers and the fans.

2. Thank you for making us and everyone around you refer to you as your slave owner name Mister, showing that you thought you were above us all.

3. Thank you for telling African American players how to dress, act, do their hair, and not get tattoos. Very progressive of you.

4. Thank you for tanking the 2010 season and making John Fox a lame duck head coach and embarsssing this franchise.

5. Thank you for then forcing Marty Hurney the next offseason to overpay all of your own free agents, helping put this team in cap hell.

6. Thank you for your fake tear speech after the Greg Hardy situation, showing the true fraud that you are.

7. Thank you for not acknowledging this fan base for almost a decade after your embarsssing pie chart moment. Thank you for taking no accountability during the lean years and never addressing the fans.

8. Thank you for taking charge in both the NFL lockout and referee lockout. You continued to show how little regard you have for the fans and the product on the field.

9. Thank you for always telling us that the Panthers would never leave Charlotte, except when you continuously tried to hold the city you love hostage for every penny you could get.

10. Thank you for once again making this franchise an embarrassment by firing our GM one week before training camp and hiring our former inept one back.

11. Thank you for referring to a scout as the N-word showing your true colors.

12. Thank you for being a sexual deviant who disrespected his wife and terrorized female employees for decades.

13. Thank you for being a creep who use to shave women's legs in the workplace and give them massages.

i can go on and on with this list, but I'll stop it there.

in all seriousness though, thank you for selling this team and getting out of our lives forever. You will forever be remembered as the disgraced owner who was racist and terrorized female workers. You will always be remembered for your mediocre ownership tenure where the franchise was never able to have back to back winning seasons or win a Super Bowl. Your tenure will forever be remembered as a failure. It will forever be remembered as an embarrassment as your legacy and name will be stripped from every corner of the stadium.

Hopefully you spend your remaining years on this earth actually doing some good. Good riddance.

Thanks for bringing the team here.

Thats it.

I wonder how many other blacks he called the n bomb? I hate that scout had to go through that disgusting display.

As for his statue, take it down. I’d like to be able to walk into the stadium without seeing it.

    • Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
