Do we pay him or let him walk if he has 79 catches 1080 yards 6 tds this season??

We will likely pay him, and Williams next season.  I could certainly see a tag situation if we can't sign both.

That said, we have to be smart, and if Moore turns into a player, we could have two good WR's signed long term on the roster...something we haven't had in quite some time.

I think that this year is going to tell a story about where his ceiling really is. And for me it's not necessarily about all production---because the more the pie is shared, the less you get---but about how he plays. I want to see a progression in route running and making big plays, including in the end zone.

I do agree that the day of WR1 studs like Moss, Irvin, Brown and Megatron are not as littered around the league. I think Funch will make huge strides in this offense and put up 1k yards and 8-10 TDs this year. I saw a switch flip with him last year where he stepped up. He played through injury, understood his importance amongst a bunch of raw players and really shifted his game as 'the guy' when KB was traded.

I don't know what to expect in Norv's offense..... I feel like, as others have said, that Cam will be the star in this offense dishing the ball out to a number of receivers. Much like the NE and GB offenses that rely on strong QB play, scheme and players that fit the style of offense, I think there is no need for a 'WR1' here.

That being said, I think Funch is hitting his prime and his stride after learning the position more and while the CMC's, Moore's and Samuel's are carving up the speedy flashy focal points, I think Funchess will be that Moose 2.0

I consider that at least like 1200-1300 and 7 TDs. Don’t really see that happening with Moore in the fold, Olsen back, McC in year two, Byrd and Samuel back, etc. The only player I see on offense putting up big numbers is Cam. The rest have too much competition for targets. Which is a very very good thing for our team.

That's how I feel about it.  If Cam gets over 4000 yds the distribution is only stats.
