So far, I can't find jack s--t on this guy since 2010.

He was Browns team president at that point and was let go when Mike Holmgren took over.

From what I've read, sounds more like a business office guy than a football guy.

Team presidents handle the business side of the front office. Marketing plans, execution, etc. They don't touch football decisions. This guy has been consulting for other sports franchises for a long time. Could bring in new ideas.

Is that how it was for the Browns? Because he was replaced by Mike Holmgren, not exactly someone I would expect to be Mr. Smart Businessman.
