Ya'll crack me up.  If giving a few sound bites to a major publication is all that is required to determine one's character in the eyes of the public, then being famous would certainly be alot easier.  So many seem to care more about political beliefs than on-field results.  This team winning is one of the few things powerful enough to bring everyone in this region (and on this forum) together.  At the end of the day, Ws are all that matters... and if they come in bunches no one will give two $h!ts about who agrees with Trump and who doesnt.  As for me, I'm really excited for this season.

I wanted him, and still would’ve preferred him. I think the league was foul in how they told him to not even bother if he didn’t have 2.5, and the team didn’t even sell for 2.5. 

I gotta warm up to Tepper, but I’m liking what I see in the article.

There's two things I feel like I can say about Tepper.

One, I do believe he has the potential to be a good owner.

Two, thank God he's not my boss. I get the sense I would absolutely hate working for him.

I worked for a guy who was a jekyll and hyde (as Tepper was described earlier).  It had its advantages and disadvantages.  One good thing was that I could ask him something on tuesday, and I didn't like the answer, I could ask him again on friday and get a different answer.

Fair point.

I played football for 10 years, so I got pretty used to getting yelled at. That's not such a big deal. Heck, when I was younger, I probably could have lived with having a boss who threw things at me.

These days though, I'm a little too old to put up with that kind of s--t.
