Corn Elder?

I haven't heard or read really much of anything on Corn Elder since his injury.

I remember when we drafted him, a lot of people were really high on him.  Anyone know if he's expected to be more than a ST factor this season?  Is he a possible camp casualty?

You better believe he'll get a good look at CB, considering the state of the secondary. If he can stay healthy he may help. Experience wise, he's pretty much a rookie though. I think he'd have to be horrible to get cut before the season starts unless they pick up a good FA or two.

Article on Panthers site says he has been at the stadium every day....looks to return fully healthy.

we're depending on a player who was a late round pick that missed his first year. that's a no from me dawg.

I wouldn't get too hyped up on a guy that not only missed his first year but was a fifth round pick. There aren't a lot of hits in the later rounds. I will be pleased if he just ends up as a rotational player.
