At least Clay could get a little separation. He just couldnt catch. Shepherd couldn’t do either.  Shepherd was either our number 2 or 3 receiver in almost every game this year and had like 3 catches. That is historically bad

Clay had 15 targets with 5 catches.  Shepard had 32 and 17.  Russel was a little better imo. But its like arguing who is slower, a turtle or a snail. Although I wouldn't have minded much if Clay had stayed just to return punts and maybe kicks.
