New Tech: NFL helmet models released to public

Recommended Posts

For anyone interested in the future of helmet safety/engineering, the NFL has released four finite element helmet models for public use. The goal is to give people a platform to test their ideas for improving helmet performance. The four helmets modeled are the Schutt Air XP Pro, Vicis Zero1, Riddell Revolution Speed Classic, and Xenith X2E. It's a pretty unique way of addressing player safety and is some cool technology.
