Falcons sign former Panther DT Terrell McClain

Decent in Dallas which is what happens when he played more of that pass rushing DT. If they expect him to be able to replace Poe then they are using him wrong.

Theres a reason why Washington released him after one year in I believe in a 4 year deal. He never panned out for us which stinks because we really needed him the year we drafted him, but he’s bounced around a lot.

I'm surprised he's stuck around so long, but I'm happy for him.  He wasn't good here, but at least he wasn't Fua bad (Fua's gotta be one of the 10 worst starters for us in the last 10 years, right?)

Why exactly are you happy for him? There's a fat piece of poo from Philadelphia who isn't going to realize his dream because of this!

Nakamora, or the guy from Canada we played at LT on MNF that required Greg Olsen to block all night, Randy Fasani (might be more than 10 years ago) just to name a few off my head

Here's a question.  He was a third round pick and he lasted a year in Carolina before bouncing around the league for a few years.  Was that a good pick by the GM and a failure of the coaching staff to develop him, or a bad pick and the coaches did what they could?

For all the talk about drafting the BPA vs drafting for need, this is a good example of what happens when you spend yourself out reach of a decent free agent pickup, and this is what killed Hurney 1.0.

We needed DTs  so bad he reached for 2 projects in the third.  Fua was so much a reach he was a classic Marty post first round flop.

Terrell was a player who has developed to the point where he could make the Falcons.  He's made a couple of teams after we gave up on him because we needed him to be a starter immediately.

Not that he would start for us now,  and we have even better depth than him if he starts in Atlanta, but I'm glad he has progressed enough to still be in the league.

That said, I like our chances against him.
