This article contradicts LaCanfora and Gantt's report. If anything it says most people with knowledge of the situation either don't have a clue, or give the slight edge to Navarro. Published last night.

That was published yesterday though.

LaCanfora's news didn't come out till today.

If this team is moved out of the Carolinas I wont pull for them anymore.  Period.

I would just stop watching.  I am not a football fan, I am a Panther fan.  Football itself may not be in my five favorite sports.  I usually watch the Rose Bowl but outside of that I basically never watch a football game that is not Panthers or UNC

The Panther stadium is usually sold out so why is the Nfl so obsessed with moving the franchise or is it just speculation from fans?

The NFL is not obsessed with moving the team. In fact, they are against it.

New stadium is another story. The NFL loves that idea.

This doesn't contradict it at all.  The author simply asked people in the Charlotte sports community if they know anything and none did...which is not surprising or unexpected.  There was nothing said other than the general thought prior to the holdup that Navarro was the favorite, but he didn't reference any sources in support of that assertion.  Basically, he was just basing regurgitating the same things we fans have heard. LaCanfora referenced people within league circles with knowledge of the sale process.

Worst case scenario. A guy with no ties to the area, and only sees green.

I get what you're saying but LA is not an option, anymore.  There is no other goldmine sitting out there.  Yes, at some point someone could offer a new stadium and lure the team away but Charlotte would have the opportunity to match that offer. I don't think someone like Tepper is pining for the day he can move the team to London or Mexico City.

I don't understand the obsession with building a new (dome?) stadium. BOA is probably one of the most city center located stadiums in the league which is awesome. It was just renovated and who needs videos screens the size of skyscrapers when you are there to watch the action on the field, not the screen. I would 100% be against a new stadium and would voice my opinion to the state because it would be a massive waste of taxpayer dollars.
