I think if you go back and look at that game, you'll see that if Newton had made one accurate throw (out of 2 bad ones) at the end, we'd have won that game.

I agree with this, Ridley is better right now while Moore had a higher ceiling.

no offense but I’m sure our paid experienced scouts know more about the guy than you do. Steve smith may not be a scout but when he calls out a player to be his replacement then it probably means a little something.

 

many good NFL wide receivers weren’t good route runners in college. It’s something that takes time, practice and good coaching.

 

a lot of his plays were short passes and screens. This is because he is a player who makes plays after the catch. He will be used the same here.

When you have no offensive line that is typically the game plan. It has nothing to do with what he can run. That is what they had to do with that shitty offensive line. Kind of what we might have to do if our left side of our line crumble s like a house of cards.

We don't know poo about what he can run at this point. How do you get in sync with 8 different QB's in 3 seasons? The QB's didn't play long enough to learn the routes worth a crap. MD was likely running the KISS offense out of necessity.

Let’s try this to see if you get it. 

Take a look at how many routes he ran coming back to the QB in middle.  That’s what happens when your QBs suck and don’t have the arm strength and precision to throw outside the numbers.  A comeback is as easy to run as a curl   But he didn’t comebacks as much because his QBs couldn’t get the ball there outside the numbers to the sideline because it’s a harder throw. His highlight reel is him running those routes and doing all the rest on his own after the catch.  You don’t see the other “comeback”or “out” or a “flat” route much bc the qbs couldn’t make those throws.  Hope this helps
