Let's look at another game instead.

first catch is a screen. reinforcing narratives here. disappears for 2 snaps, then shows up and is covered well on a batted pass. disappears completely for a while again , as maryland falls behind 21-0. incomplete on a corner route. next play is a gadget play, reinforcing the tavon austin comparison. next play is a simple flat route which goes for a gain of like 8, his best play of the game outside of the gadget pass. next play is a screen. this gets really repitive doesn't it? screens, slants and one (1) flat route are the only successful routes i have seen him run. that isn't what we need, we need seperation. after a few plays of him being a ghost again, being targetted but covered like a blanket, or incompletions by the bad qb play, he makes a great catch but it only goes for like 5. another slant screen type play for a first but only 4 yards or so. next is another slant screen which is stuffed. and thats it.

 

gonna get poo'd to hell and back but i really dont care, im concerned as hell about this pick here.

Honest question, are you blind? That film from the Penn State game was spectacular... he had his man beat multiple times, twice for TD’s and was consistantly open, his fuging QB couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn. Wtf are you talking about?

I didn't even waste my time reading this pile of poo. Why look at film when you can go to their pro day and have a private visit with him. Norv seen him first hand, and I would go with a professional than all this crap you wrote from watching film. Hope you get a whole pile of poo on this thread.

NORV went to his proday and had him run every route, his offense did make him do it, thats does not mean that he can't do it. His first with a decent QB they ran a pro style offense and he ran more routes. You just looking for something to talk about.  Panthers scouted him for months and still chose him. dont worry about what you think he can't do , focus on what can do , what he brings right now.

on field production>pro day and workout. professionals can mess up, too.

Worked out personally by our offensive coordinator / former NFL head coach -- I don't think we have to much to be worried about, almost all of these young men at any collegiate position coming into the NFL have a flaw / weakness somewhere. 

The job of the team is to ''identify, and mold'' the young talent to perform at the next level. If you're going to discuss his flaws you need also note his productivity with said flaws, then consider that now, based on his work ethic, all he has to do is continue to develop his game.
