I don’t see how there’s a roster spot for Captain cutting down to 53?

This is the big issue.  Finances aside, I'm not sure we can waste a roster spot on Captain if he's not in the plans this year.

Hopefully he can bounce back

I am trying to think of his best year--I can't remember Capt. ever being more than an over-achieving seventh round pick.  I recall laughing at Minnesota for overpaying.   Maybe I am wrong.

OTAs should give us a pretty good idea of where he is.

Vikings fan liked him very much. They didn’t want him to leave. I think Capt just had a bad season.

They can have him back June 2nd or after training camp if we wait to see him compete vs the other nickels. Bad season or not Corn should be able to assume his role or DJ or whoever else.

Idiot. We need a vet to help develop Corn and Donte. Bradberry is so quiet with no swag. Plus he’s still learning how to play this game after a somewhat disappointing sophomore year. We need CAPT!

Captain ran his mouth like an entitled brat and didn’t back it up with his play.

Say what you want about Rivera, but he does not put up with that poo.

Rons a militant man can't break ranks and not be reprimanded.

Whoa idiot dam you tried it but I'm not gonna disrespect you over the internet that's weak. I'm a state facts if Corn didn't get all the groomimg needed from the DBs (captain specifically for the smart guy Chuck) all of last year then he must be a idiot if he needs another year to learn from the same guy something's not adding up. You seem to forget he was on the roster all year in all meetings at the games learning from the entire staff and players. How about if you need Capt to help develop our 2nd round pick who will be playing outside and the slot (You remember what Capt looks like playing outside?) we might be in big trouble. I'm not saying players don't need vets but you sound like a genius saying we need Capt no we need good coaching and dedication from the player. Let's say DJ plays outside Corn in the slot hasn't Corn had enough time to learn ? You really think he needs another year of grooming or or or we need to keep him to specifically help groom Donte? So coming off a DNP coaches decision in the biggest game of the year for us and a Poor pff grade for the year to be clear ASF my guy we need that person to help groom our young DB's. It's all good tho sometimes your opinion may not be valid as you think genius.

He has to get cut.

Bradberry, Cockrell, Jackson, Seymour, Gunter, and Elder are then there's still Sanchez (dont care for) & Luke showed flashes.

Munnerlyn is nothing more than a veteran voice in the locker room that runs really hot and cold, and looked AWFUL last year.

Dont want to waste a roster spot on him.

Didn’t Norman say Cap didn’t help him at all ?? I think his Napoleon complex keeps him from mentoring anyone.

Will be fine without his poor attitude and poor play

The person who makes the best case for cutting Captain is, well, Captain. He talks like he doesn't get enough respect and then plays like he didn't get his shoes tied.

We let him go in his "prime" for a reason.

No way fellas so he's not a good mentor and had poor performances last year but hold up @Carolina-Chuck18 told me we need him to groom Corn and Donte lmao I'm glad I don't listen to people who've have multiple personalities lol or profiles.
