To be blunt, the OP is an insult to basic understanding.

i rightfully deserve the criticism.

it's early may and im impatient for football season to start. plus, i highly dislike silatolu and how he gets cam murdered. coupled with a lack of sleep and just a bum attitude all day, and this catastrophe ensued.

i apologize once again to everyone who had to witness this.

I can't fathom why any Panther fan would want any player to fail.

The reality is Amini is the only guard on the team that has played the position for us before, and in a very similar offense.

It's an absolute no brainer it's is job to lose.

I also can't fathom how any fan doesn't think there is going to be competition.

Seriously, do you even know how many guards we have on the roster?

I also can't fathom why any fan wants to see a player fail so badly. This is worse than a witch hunt.

Nothing would be more entertaining to me here on the huddle, than to see Amini hold off the competition, just so I can watch the epic melt down!

I mean I'm all for it if Amini miraculously becomes good. I want him to completely blow everything I know about him out the window and show out to be someone the Panthers originally hoped he'd become.

I mean, heck, with Remmers to an extent, he seems to be well off with the Vikings. Maybe Silatolu comes up with something here.

I don't want any player to fail. I want anyone on the Panthers to surpass my expectations and be good. I'm just worried with their history that they won't and it'd hurt Cam in the process.

Of course, it is May, and there's no doubt there'll be a competition. Whether Ron Rivera changed his evaluations ways is to be seen, but even then hopefully we truly end up with who's actually the best on the roster.

lol.

the only one acting insecure seems to be yourself. you and a few others always like to complain and take things way too seriously about stuff i post.

Do you even know what insecure means? You’re doing it again...if you were secure and confident about your own analysis then you wouldn’t have to post random tweets of people agreeing with you to say “look! I’m totally right!!”. Nor would you have to backtrack now and say “wow stop taking my posts so seriously”. If you don’t even fully buy into your own analysis then I don’t know how you would expect anyone else to do so.

I will say this about you, Saca:  I rarely see you engage in name calling or insults.  You throw  stuff out there---people dont have to read it or worse, respond.  Many have never started a thread in their lives--they just wait to criticize.  Not saying this about this exchange--comments are in general.

Is this supposed to be a criticism? You must be of the mindset that all content is good content, which is where we differ.

Before training camp, as a coach, you say things like, "I'm happy with the guys we've got" or "I expect my veteran players to be starters in September".

It's a looooong way to September. Quit getting your panties all bunched up before summer bikini season.

I am not going to panic.   Amini is the "veteran" and Moton is coming off his rookie year.  Someone has to be listed as the starter.   I am sure that Turner is going to have his eye on the position and will hopefully override Rivera if he insists on starting Amini.

Hopefully one of the UDFA shows off and Amini gets jettisoned before the season starts.

@Saca312 did you know that 2 TE set can help a shaky OL, you still haven't wrriten my article on the bet you lost.

Also Ian Thomas is going to be next Martellus Bennett in terms of playing style.

First off, nobody wants to see amini to fail, he has managed to do that all on his own since being drafted and has given plenty of clear cut evidence. The guy just cant play in this league. He lost his spot when he got hurt, was then released because a undrafted player took over the spot, finally brought back and has still shown he cant be relied upon in a large role.....SO THATS FAILURE. Secondly, since when does being a vet and knowing the playbook overule the fact that this guy literally gets knocked on his ass way to much as a OL and allows Cam to get hit? One of the reason We watched Cam limp around an entire season in 2014 and get beat up consistently was due to the fact that as a starter amini couldn't block anybody worth a damn. The fact that you would say you want him to win the job just so you could be entertained is pretty deranged. I guess you are gonna enjoy watching cam get the crap beat out of him too.
