For whatever you think of Manning, calling it a sexual assault is a stretch.

Her own account is that he stuck his butt in her face. Manning claims he was mooning a teammate and never touched her.

Yeah, that's a dumbass thing to do, but that's hardly in the same category as say, Roethlisberger (or even Richardson).

She alleged his genitals made contact with her face, no? Look, I don't want the guy locked up over it in 2018, but it makes *zero* sense for this to be one of the guys that replaces Richardson. Might as well just let Richardson keep the team if that's the case.

Depends on which version of her story you read.

In the original, he made no contact with her at all. Later on, when she decided to sue him, the story changed.

She also sued fashion designer Donna Karan for some reason, and others.

I would love this. I have a lot of respect for him as a player. Could help market the team as well. He beat us in the SB, but it is what it is. Even if it is fake, I like the idea.

Which is fake, the news or the SB victory??

I have never cared for Peyton Manning. I think humility is beyond his reach. However, I have always admired his football skills. If this helps Navarro's presentation to the owners, I'm all for it. Some owners may be bemoaning the lack of sports management experience with Navarro thus pushing for Tepper instead. Which is a ridiculous complaint because that could be a good thing. New eyes, as the saying goes. But this may well be a positive play on Ben Navarro's part. He's pulling out all the stops and that says a lot.
