You cant claim a draft awful literally only 2 weeks after it happened. We have no idea what to expect from it till the players get on the field.

I didn’t claim, hence the phrase “may prove.” 

I hope every pick is a perinneal pro bowler, but if Hurneys last few drafts are any indication, no one other than DJ will be in the league in 2 years.

Crazy talk. He will package them up with a 2nd and next year's 1st to move back into the first for a 4th round talent.

Cockrell may instead cancel out Dickson, it's close and we really won't know for sure for a year, but in that case we'd get a 7th instead of a 6th. Either way it'd be a surprise if Charles Johnson makes the Jets, so the likely result remains just one pick (#102) for Norwel.

If you look at his last two drafts, 9 of the 15 players taken lasted longer than 2 years.  Several of them on other teams, but still...

Gettleman whiffed on a lot of picks too. It's the nature of the NFL draft. Hurney found more studs, Gettleman found more role players. I wish you could morph the two of them into one amazing GM.
