Valid, given our philosophy, I suppose. But, good safeties are also a lot cheaper than good cornerbacks. It would be nice to draft a young guy to come in and have as a cornerstone for at least the term of his rookie contract. Maybe in future drafts. I am guessing it isn't likely next year, given the needs we are projected to have.

Yeah, Nick Foles' performance has driven up the value (and presumably price) of a back up QB for teams. So much so that Kurt Warner was going to offer his services at the age of 46 this year. Think he wanted a starting gig though. 

Will be interesting to see what Marty can bring in for that position with the money he has left if he even goes that route.

Im a unc fan and hope the best for the kid but looking for the NFL perspective he is really slow.

LBs did run him down pretty easily, thats facts.  But He would break the tackles when they caught him though.

I saw that about Kurt. I can't imagine any team being that QB desperate to bring in a 46 year old guy that hasn't played a down in almost a decade. 

Our options are probably going to be pretty limited. The QB backup market is pretty rough, at the moment. Kaep is really the best of a pretty sorry or pretty old lot.

Anderson, McCaffrey, Armah, then two more most likely. That is assuming Norv sticks with is traditional use of FB
