So, a guy that has 8 ST plays in his NFL career is going to knock off someone who has actually run the ball in the NFL?

Drugs are bad, mmkay?

Well it's not like Artis-Payne was a day one or even day two pick. I mean, I thought Hood could have easily got drafted day three, and I honestly wouldn't have minded if we had drafted him then, and I kind of expected us to.  Of course we didn't,  but we obviously haven't committed to the idea of CAP, Armah or Fozzy either, and there has to be a reason (or reasons). Blocking ability could be a very big reason. And, it's not like Hood is an oak tree on skates in the running department.

Well, thanks. For some reason I was thinking that he was a UDFA. The fact that he was actually drafted day three is more of a reason to believe that Hood and CAP may end up closer than people think (if the coaches are actually comparing the two from a roster spot perspective, which is no given). Armah should probably not be getting comfortable.

Assuming 4 RB's on the roster, looks like CAP, Foz, and Hood fighting for 2 spots with CMC and CJ the locks. Don't see Bonnafon doing better than the PS this season. Hood is the mystery. I hope he gets enough plays to show what he can do. CAP has had 3 years with the team and we still don't know if he can handle the job or not.

I have no doubt none of this is a threat to Armah...

Problem is he was always sluggish and slow so im not buying that.

Watching him through college.  LBs easily ran him down often.  He was just powerful and vicious so he just broke the tackles.  His power, blocking ability (heck UNC used him as a lead back blocking for Logan on some plays), and running style.  I 100% see why they told him to pack on a few pounds.  He'd be the perfect FB in this league and thats probably why some scouts told him to pack the pounds and saw future plans for him

that would be incorrect...
