On topic, I like the Hood pick up in that it provides more depth and competition at RB.  Good stuff.

If Hood has been fed the ball like he should’ve been at UNC he would have put up ridiculous stats. One of the more frustrating misuses of a player I’ve seen at UNC. He only had 20+ carries three while averaging 6ypc during his college career.

I know there’s a bunch of SEC nut huggers here, so I’ll point out he played against SEC competition twice. He went for 138 yards on 12 carries (11.5ypc) vs. South Carolina and he went for 72 yards on 10 carries (7.2ypc) plus another 28 yards on 6 catches vs. UGA.

There will be a 2 month gap after this week between rookie camp this weekend and training camp. I expect Hurney to finialize the roster by siging a few tryout guys and cutting Russell Shepard and possibly Captain Munnerlyn.

Don't see him beating out CAP. CAP college stats are more impressive. CAP needs more opportunities and if he is not going to get them Rivera should just cut the guy and let him catch on with another team that may give him an actual chance. They are wasting him here just sitting him on the bench.

I hate to tell you this but the East side of the SEC is the weak side of the SEC. GA is decent. SEC teams have a tendency to have to much confidence and not play has hard. Being considered the #1 conference they just don' bring it when they play outside their conference, but their has started to be some balancing in the conferences the past couple of yrs. Just bc he played well against those teams means nothing.  I haven' seen his game play but I' tired of CAP being on the cutting board every yr without even given an opportunity to even play for real. If he is not good enough cut him and move on. Tired of having the same convo every yr after mini camp he shows out and still is a bench warmer. Just cut him!
