Dont see the Stew comparison

Many people forget the majority of Stews career up until the last 2.

Stew had wheels and was a 4.4 flat guy.  And even returned kicks in college.

Yes he could run you over.  But had the ability to break off a big gain.

Hood is slooow (ran a 4.64 at his proday).  Im a Heels fan, the kid needs to pack about 10 pounds and slide to Fullback.  His thing is he'll just run you over.  Thats been his thing since high school.  And while he did have a solid college career, his speed and quickness is what held him back and why he was never thought as a legit pro prospect.

Put 10 pounds on him, let him play Fullback like a Tolbert role on short yard FB dives and he could help out.  Much else he's not going to be much

"Downhill runner who lacks desired elusiveness, lateral quickness and speed, but does have the overall power to create for himself. Hood is a banger who will only be a fit for certain systems, but he does have the toughness to handle pass protection duties. Hood's ability to block in the open field could open a door for him as a roster-friendly fullback with third or fourth running ability."

He'd be Real good competition at FB for Armah and Could win the job

Yeh and he ran a 4.4 with turf toe bare foot at the combine, many forget just how fast and powerful Jonathan was.

The later lack of juking ability I firmly believe was more a product of all his ankle surgeries and not his age. Had he not needed so many he’d have been juking still.

"They started cutting back on how much they involved a fullback before Norv got here, and while he has use for one, I'm guessing he won't be in a rush to go too old school there.

What could be interesting for Alex Armahicon-article-link.gif is how much he'll possibly be pushed by Elijah Hoodicon-article-link.gif, who may need to show he can help at fullback if he's going to stick around."
