Was so predictable that he'd bust there when they signed him. He was mediocre in Indy even with chemistry with Luck from their college days.  Not a loss for them at all at this point but fairly quick proof of a terrible FA addition a few years ago.

Hes not awful, he's just not worth what they paid him. We have our project tight end at less than a million a year.

Fleener says he wants to play again, but he's still recovering from that concussion. I hope he hangs them up.

Couldn’t make it with Indy or the saints who both use Tight ends a lot in their offense.

 

he would only take away snaps from Thomas hurting his development.

 

unless Olsen or Thomas gets injured we don’t need him. Otherwise we would be paying millions for a 2nd/3rd string TE. We could instead save the money or use it on anothe position like safety or back up QB.
