What gave C.J. Anderson “more clarity” that signing in Carolina was the right call? A phone call with Jonathan Stewart.

Good signing by Hurney!

I honestly think that he's done a good job so far. We've improved every position group except for LB (we already had the best in the league), and O-line. He's brought in a plethora of guys to compete for  LG, but I doubt any will be as good as Norwell (this year).  While his 2nd and 3rd round picks aren't the same CB and S that I would have grabbed, they are the positions most in need. Who am I to argue? You can't even argue most of these moves are big improvements.

Poe > Star,

Cockrell/Jackson > Worley,

Smith/ Moore > Benjamin,

Wright > Bersin,

Sercy/Gaulden > Coleman,

Thomas > Dickson

CJ > Stew (I love Stew, but his best days are behind him)

Just gonna leave this right here...

His running looks a lot like a 27 year old Stew (that's a good thing), with the big plus of having better hands. We already know that he can pass block. The only downside I see is that he didn't sign a multi-year contract.

Dude is basically Stewart but 4 years younger and a better pass catcher...

I agree
