Why a 1-year contract is a good idea:

He is going to prove what he can do, but I would not give a 28 year old RB more than a 3-year deal after that if he succeeds here.  If not, you draft a RB next year.  But splitting work will extend his career a year or so.

What you should expect to see:  More CMC in space.  Less CMC up the gut.  More CMC in a slot role. 

I think we have the next RG on the roster.  I think Searcy/Adams/Gaulden is good enough at S.  I think our LT is our biggest weakness.
