The optimist part of me wants to believe JR is holding off until he knows BN will have all of the requisite owner support 

The realist part of me believes JR just wants the most money and doesn’t give a rat’s ass about its origin, the future of the franchise or anything other than Morgan Fogarty

I want to believe that all the stories I have heard in the past about JR being concerned with his legacy will lead him to selling the team to Navarro.  Navarro seems like a really good dude - someone all Carolinians can get behind - and Navarro seems a good enough businessman to make some very smart decisions for the franchise.  I cant think of a better long term legacy at this point than leaving the team in good hands with a guy the fans will love.

For me it's that unlike Tepper he's fresh blood which the NFL ownership group desperately needs. Keeping everything "in the family" is what got JR to this point so I want someone truly new. Plus I'm not sure a confirmed cheapskate is good for a city that already assumes its sports owners are cheap.
