I disagree. Kaepernick might have a case.

Kaep doesn’t have any case, the court is going to look at his incentives in his contract. How he failed to accumulate hardly any of them. Then was forced to restructure, because he wasn’t performing, given multiple chances by SF, look at all the other drama he caused. And end it there.

No production and drama. A recipe for no contract.

Since everyone keeps bringing up Kaep, how much of his incentives did he actually produce? How many times did SF restructure him to give him a chance.

He ain’t getting poo in a court of law.

We’ll see. Maybe he does, and maybe he doesn’t. Again, I hope he does, both he and the legendary CK.

So if I work on my company time, for example sometimes they have us outside the office at a golfing event,..

i show up with my company badge on with a tv camera there but instead of representing my company who pays me to do a job and represent their brand the way they want to be represented,..

i say publically that my company along with everyone is screwing over homeless people and publically hurt my company’s brand on television in front of everyone,...

so im fired—-

and since it was on tv,... all the other employers I could have gone to work for won’t hire me because they saw it and saw the damage I did,...

is that collusion?

No,... I made a public ass out of myself while I was on the clock for my company with my company badge on in my company tent and now I have no paycheck.

Reap the WhirlWind Sheriff Brady,.... Reap it.

dont do the crime if you can’t afford to do the time— you were being a man when you decided to make an ass out of yourself on company time and hurt the brand that’s paying you,...

so now be man enough to eat your roasted asshole with a sprinkle of dumbass on the side.

How dare you bring the rest of society's reality into the discussion! Don't you know football players are different?  Their jobs and opinions are super important!!

I’m all for people expressing their beliefs and protesting to stand up for what they believe in. But at the end of the day, it might cost you your job and you have to accept that. You can’t have it both ways.

I build and sell overpriced homes to people outside of the country and it prices locals out of owning homes. It’s my job. If I get passionate enough about the cause to protest what my job entails I better expect that my company might cut ties with me.

I cant bitch to get my job back afterward.

Embarrassing post right here

how was kap black listed when he was almost traded to Denver, refused to negotiate his salary, so trade was ended, then decided to renegotiate his 49er salary to be able to test free agency.... And it turns out nobody wanted him in FA.

He took a chance on himself and lost. He rejected taking less money in Denver in 2016. And then took less money from the 49ers to go to FA.

It made zero sense. And makes me wonder if he ever wanted to continue to play.

Because he’s better than half the QBs starting in the league, but they didn’t take a knee so you know...

It is not a rule to stand for the anthem.

It’s is if your employer says it’s embarrasing Them and it’s on company time.

he was in uniform dressed for games that he’s paid for, representing a brand during working hours and he used his employers time to make a public case..

fired. I would be and anyone else would be.

The racism on this board has gotten out of hand

It also gets out of hand when someone does something that would get anyone else in any other job anywhere else fired, can’t handle the consequences so uses a shield like racism to change themselves from the aggressor to the victim.

At my company, a Fortune 500 and my wife’s company fortune 500, hint owns Marvel ESPN and magic theme parks with fairy dust,..

we are told we are “Always on Stage”.

meaning if I were to do what Kap did on national TV,.. on my time I am still fired,... I always represent my employer.

if I did it, I would have to accept the consequences if my cause was that important to me.

theirs is not,.. they wanted the fame of it but can’t handle the consequences,..

so it’s everyone else’s fault,... and I’ll use a shield.

Their cause is righteous,.. but the method wasn’t to their employer so accept the consequences and keep on marching instead of being a baby.

If it's a workplace, how about we keep the national anthem outside the workplace.  Do you stand and sing the anthem at your place of work?  If yes, please tell me what you do.

I worked part time at a sports bar. Any time I heard the anthem I stopped and stood at attention. I've done it at the grocery store, walking down the street, etc; and even do so in my home. Because as the daughter/wife/sister in law of veterans, I was taught from the gitgo that you stop and show respect for your country's anthem regardless of where you are or what you are doing.

What company sings the national anthem before every shift?

No clue why it's needed in sports.
