As a Louisville fan who has watched every game of his career, I am shocked with the amount of love he is getting on here and on twitter. He was recruited out of Trinity High School (Louisville HS) as a 3 star QB. There was a lot of excitement about him coming out of HS and being a local kid who player WB. Outside of beating ND on the road his freshman year, he was a flop at QB.

His first chance at RB was brutal. He was by far the worst RB they put out there. He then was moved to WR where he was ok out of the slot. His senior year they put him back at RB and he was solid. He was never the lead back. Reggie also never played a down of defense in 4 years, so not sure how he helps at CB.

with all that said, he is a great kid. His father who use to coach him and was very close to him died while he was in college. I felt awful for him, but he came back and took on an even bigger leadership role after that. I hope nothing but the best for him, but I don't see it.

We are being introduced to him for the first time, so I trust your insights.  If you read the articles and watch the videos, it makes him look like a stud.

actually, 6'0" is not accurate either.  It worked for you to round down .7 of an inch, so you went with it.

Christ, man.

I just said 6 feet because if I would’ve went with 6007 most of you would’ve thought he was 6’7”

Um... Bonnafon is 6 feet tall not 6’3”

Also ran a 4.53 on pro day

Do you like to just make stuff up, or is it a case of consistently being wrong...

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback-turned-receiver-turned-running back exploded for a 4.40-second 40 and prospectively improved his stock as we are now less than one month before the 2018 NFL Draft begins

So since we are too dumb to understand,  you simplified it for us so we can understand the sophistication of your data.  But your data analysis was deliberately wrong.

Here is how you missed my point--you could have simplified it more accurately by rounding to the nearest inch--6" 1".  So your simplification was erroneous, and exaggerated for effect.

Height aside. What do you think of him on the roster?

I see him as a master of none type. i can’t see him being more than a camp body and maybe a PS player. However, after watching the videos of his highlights, he may have an upside, but not enough vest much fandom into.

hopefully I’m wrong

I see 4th HB over Fozzy, emergency WR/QB. Highlights can make most any player look good that's the point, I'm more interested in the experience he has as a pass catcher, and runner of the football.

The emphasis on multiple skill sets has it's finger prints all over the last two drafts at offensive, and defensive skill positions.

I'd go with the college team site until we get an official update via the Panther's site, either way 6'1-6'3 he's not a small guy.

Pretty much.

He’s obviously one hell of an athlete but since he moved around so much because of his athleticism he never really mastered any position.

Those type of kids with that level of athleticism are always worth a look I suppose.

“Versatile” was the theme of our entire draft class

meh, i was a pretty big fan despite being pessimistic going into it. tweeners suck and generally brand themselves as versatile but you can be versatile without being a tweener.

first two picks are versatile but that's not their branding.

I'm not sure about this kid. A Friend of mine is a huge Louisville fan, said he sucked at every position he played. I hope for the best.
