These players we selected fit a role that we need in our defense.  You don't draft the name you draft a player with a certain skill set you need.  We didn't draft those players because Hurney didn't know what he was doing.  We drafted him because they the role in our defense better. 

Get over being butthurt because we did draft the players you spent 5 minutes evaluating and decided they are better for us than who we selected.

I couldn't be less butthurt if I tried, since I didn't enter this draft with any preconceived notions about who the Panthers should draft. Would I have liked different guys? Sure. But it wasn't my call. I was more responding to the OP's logic

Not necessarily aimed at you.  Many have.  If these players turn out to be good players how can you fire the GM.   While I am not a fan of Hurney, if he has learned from his first stint and continues to listen to the team of folks and not his personal wishes.  I wouldn't fire him.

Continuity is vital to a team.  Keep switching GMs and you won't have it.
