Both Moore and Ridley were good options and like they said it was a almost a tossup. I can see why one might prefer one over the other but to pretend it's a grave mistake one way or the other is being over dramatic.

IMO, As of right now, Ridley is a slightly more pro-ready player right now, but he's basically at his ceiling.  Moore is just below him right now, but his ceiling is a big time multi-time pro bowler.  The best part is you couldn't say that he's completely raw, just needs to be refined.

Uhh.......   2 Super Bowls

But that was 25+ years ago with a stacked Dallas offense full of hall of famers. Shula couldn’t mess that up

I’m not saying Norv isn’t great but he also couldn’t make a SB with a historically talented offense in San Diego

Just because Norv saw D.J Moore run scripted routes in underwear doesn’t mean he’ll live up to his 1st round label.  I hope Moore does though. . I’m just not 100% sold yet

Just don't have unreasonably high expectations for the kid just yet.

So, what do you think?

At least we agree on that he will make a difference.  I don't care how he does it, just do it.  He did have flux at QB and he managed.  I have high hopes and expect him to come in firing on all cylinders.  No reason not to with the coaching staff he has before him.  Is he Steve Smith.2?  I'm not so sure as most are.  He has potential to do a lot of the same things as Steve did but I don't see the same grit.  That may just be a good thing too.

Ronald Acuna looking like the real deal, and we knew Albies was the truth.

As for Moore, I’ll remain cautiously optimistic.

You got yourself a fun team to watch. Acuna definitely didn’t cheat himself when it came to getting his first big fly either, upper tank.

Yeah... as for Moore there’s pros and cons. We so desperately need it to work out with him and be every bit worth the 1st round selection.

Jarius Wright is one of the best slot WRs in the NFL.  He’s unknown due to Diggs and Thilien.  Funchess and Moore will play outside with Smith being 4th WR.

Wright is not unknown. He has been a good receiver in the NFL. Joe Adams was drafted a couple spots before Wright (teammates at Arkansas).

Wright started his career well. He just kind of went away the last couple years for whatever reasons, idk. But came back in played well in the post season.

Torrey Smith imo will not be the 4th WR. We can go back and forth all night. However, it’s a good problem to have. As of right now, on paper we are looking really good at WR. I even feel like Byrd is too good to be the last wr on this team.

Fixed bawahahahahaha

before I get the boos and poo, I am excited about DJ Moore and believe he will be a Steve Smith for us.

What I also believe is Torrey Smith was brought in to be that over the shoulder deep guy, and DJ will have other types of routes while he puts it all together.

Bottom line, while Calvin Ridley is more polished, DJ has far more upside and with Norv calling the shots and coaching I think he’s will be great,...

Smith is a straighline guy who is no longer as fast as he once was.  Funches with Moore on the outside will make safeties sit deep.  Means slot WR, TE and RB will all cause a lot of damage.  Smith on the outside as #2 is a terrible idea.  You need to match Smith against 3rd and 4th CB or even LB.

I agree with who you match Torrey up with, but he’s 28 not 38,...

Worked well for Philly last season. Made Agholor look like an all pro.

I agree. Ridley to me is close to hitting his ceiling. He’s a simple natural WR. You know what you get. Moore’s ceiling is still sky high. Smitty called him a PLAYMAKER and a PHD in route running. That’s all I need to be convinced. I don’t need to hear anything from Norv or Hurney.

Quit stealing all your stuff

Dude get off your high horse.

Dude's basically gonna be catching out the slot this year a lot and told to get extra yards. The comparison to Landry is pretty obvious.

You're hella smart dude and you get football. Share your opinions don't be smug about it.
