NFC south....which team has improved the most?

Tampa is the answer but our other rivals aren’t far off

On paper our draft is meh but it fits us very well based off our scheme.

Tampa, good draft, did exactly what we should have done last year if we were really sold on Rb, trade back and grab some quality picks in the 2nd and 3rd

atl, scary draft, I see a lot of people knocking Oliver and Ridley but those are great picks by them, only thing holding them back is there offensevise coordinator tbh.

saints, high risk high reward if Davenport pans out, same boat as falcons with how dangerous that poses for us

BPA always makes sense.

BPA is team and scheme dependent and Oliver doesn't really project to fit Quinn's scheme in the secondary. And Ridley isn't the type of WR they need to complement Julio either.

I wouldn't say that...they basically do what we do every year but in reverse...Keeping a strength strong.

And that is where I think we've gone wrong and the drawbacks of DG's approach to a degree. The Butler and Thompson picks were just not the right picks there. Could've been Landon Collins and Hunter Henry...

They lost in FA and Ridley and Oliver made no sense for them. We improved more than them for sure.

BPA. Plus the Falcons have nothing at WR behind Julio and Sanu. Oliver is the long armed CB Quinn has wanted. You kick Alford at NB and that is an elite CB corps.

Lol what? Oliver is literally a perfect fit for Quinn’s system..long armed CB in the Richard Sherman mold. Falcons considered taking him at 26 but couldn’t pass up on Ridley...pretty shocked he lasted until 58.

Think we've had a good offseason, personally. Panthers as well. Falcons made me scratch my head in FA, but did well in the draft. Tampa has had a very good offseason.

You guys just went all in on a very raw pass rusher in the draft though. I get trying to maximize Brees' final year(s), but if you're gonna go all in on a guy, I'd go all in on a guy who was actually polished and NFL ready. Davenport is a boom or bust guy and we may not know which one he is for 2 or 3 years and by that time Brees may be retired and meanwhile you guys have foregone an additional 1st round pick.

I think there's a difference in having sky high potential that hasn't been scratched and being very raw. Davenport has a good bullrush and rip move. His biggest knocks are that he often doesn't have a plan, outside of a bullrush, and he doesn't have a counter move.

The Saints didn't go up and get a guy they think they need this year if they don't expect him to contribute this year. Davenport will be a big part of the dline rotation.

Being a big part of the rotation doesn’t necessarily mean that a guy is actually ready to be a big part of the rotation. Panthers fans know that story well from our experiences at CB.

It's not like he's gonna get thrown there because we don't have decent depth lol. Okafor, Kikaha, and Henderson. It's because he's dripping with talent. Davenport isn't nearly as raw as most here seem to keep implying. Watch some of his tape against the bigger teams. Texas A&M. Baylor. Senior Bowl. I'd bet he makes an impact this year.

How many of their OL got drafted this year?

If y’all made a desperation trade like this for a guy at a position of depth that makes it even dumber.
