Remember when we ALL wanted Robert Lester and swore the entire NFL was stupid for him falling so far?

No, because like I told yall then and now and will continue to do so until it sinks in(never) that we aren't and don't draft S's that high.

So nope.

Nobody drafted that Safety at all and many were screaming 2nd rd Guy! Ronnie Harrison reminded me of that situation

The way Smith raved about Moore and the way Hurney has never EVER missed in Rd.1.....we have a legit WR now.

That was worth the whole draft, especially with Hurney at the helm. Maybe one of these other guys emerge! Highly unlikely, but maybe. Thomas and Smith seem promising

Yup a lot of people who don't know this team cry S, S, S, S.

And they have been and will continue to be wrong, stupid, or whatever you wanna call it because it won't happen.

With a new staff things change but as it sits now we will not draft a S in 1-2 period....won't happen.

Not sure what your goal is. Two possible long term NFL guys in that list

Pretty sure he will emerge as the no.1 WR and I was against the pick!

CB will be #3 for awhile, then perhaps cut loose, but who knows

The S will be our Colin Jones 2.0

Ian Thomas is intriguing! He may be Hurney’s fifth ever Non 1st rounder to become a legit starter.

The rest are camp fodders. Accept it. Norton may push Love for a roster spot and the LB from UNC could be good depth and Mayo insurance on the short term.

Honestly how we used Colin Jones against the Packers is the perfect comparison for how we'll use Gaulden. Except I trust Gaulden in deep coverage a lot.more than Colin Jones.

I also expect Haynes to make the roster. We'll use him like how Bruce Irvin was used. He has the skill set to make it work and the ability to drop back into coverage. At the very worst he's forever a situational pass rusher, which none of is will mind.

Other than that yeah. I can see the first LB making it if he can contribute well on special teams, he has the makeup to be a decent backup. Last two picks were just first dibs on guys we considered 7th-UDFA.

All we needed was the easy layup Hunter Henry to make that draft not a travesty.

If you are trusting Gaulden more than any NFL S at the moment then you are being waaaaayyyyy overly optimistic while wearing homer glasses. Maybe, but he needs to make the roster first.

Bruce was a first rd. Pick because of his talent. Haynes was not. Maybe he has the frame to add more weight, who knows? I immediately thought he would become a situational SAM back but we shall see
