Literally the worst draft in Panthers history

Doesn't trade up. (Did traded up once)Plays safe for his token 1st round gem. Trades back multiple times and doesn't address holes (traded back once, 7 diifrent positions were addressed 2 on offense and 5 on defense). We don't have a backup QB(true, but will you  trust a late round QB if cam goes down). JT Barrett in 7th would have been nice (there is a reason he was still available). Linebackers galore and defensive tackle when we have plenty(not true). Adios hurney

Fixed. To summarize we need all hall of fame players in the draft.

Are you a new fan? Worst draft in panthers history??? How about 2009 when the Panthers not only didn’t have a first round pick, they traded away the next years first round pick to trade into the second round to get a shitty undersized pass rusher?

I won’t say it’s the worst draft until I see how things pan out. Just because we didn’t get the “name” we want. Doesn’t mean that these guys won’t be solid starters for us. Trust the process and give these guys a chance. I remember being upset with us drafting Luke because we still had beason and we know how that turned out. Let’s give them a chance

Time will tell with Moore.

Corner who will not start.

Free Safety who wasn't a free safety.

#2 te for depth chart. That guy has no production.

We have plenty of pass rush and do depth. At that point we needed qb/rb/true safety

fuging boring and the whitest draft ever.

Moore is gonna be able to come in and do what he does best day 1 - catch the ball and make plays. He already fits his frame - 6'0, 210 and ran a 4.42. .1 second slower and 21 pounds heavier than Ridley. Don't have to worry about him bulking up and losing speed like you do a lot of these guys. He can learn outside routes as his devolpment comes along lots of upside, very high floor.

Jackson will be the guy we match up against the Ted Ginns and Chris Goodwin's, who KILLED us last year. Can line up inside and outside, allowing us to match up with mismatches instead of forcing us to play zone. Crockrell and Bradberry can match up against the big body WRs.

FS in HS who played Nickel in college to get playing time. Texas previous coach had no idea what to do with his talent. Dude is modable clay who has the potential to be vocal leader for our secondary.

TE #2 was a need for us. We don't need a TE #1 rn, we have Greg. If Thomas turns into Greg's replacement in the future, cool. If not, cool. We just need him to be better than a Ed Dickson, and he has the potential to do that. Can't ask.for.mlre form a 4th round pick.

All those positions can be found in FA or trades. Hoping on a 5th-7th rounder to come in and do anything to be more than a roleplayer is risky and dumb. We needed depth. We got it. LBs and D-line are valuable in our defense.
