Andre Smith is a classic 'You should have stayed in school' prospect. Had 100 tackles in 2016, gets hurt chasing after Lamar Jackson, the 3rd game last year, and announces that he's entering the draft while out for the season.

Just like when Kevin Norwood the LB we tried to turn into a DE....Hurney still Hurney and it's glorious.

Smith was a very,very good player for Carolina when he played. He missed pretty much all of last season with about 23 other unc players.  Was shocked he declared early and def should have stayed for another season. Good value though for 7th round. 

Agreed man, he was CLEARLY their best defender before the injury IMO.  Felt like he was making all the tackles\plays at times.  Worth it in the 7th for sure.

Looking back ... It's kinda scary how close he resembles TD. 

If he can get healthy, this has the potential to be a VERY good pick.
