So you're basically basing your opinion on the kickoff out of bounds in the superbowl and this kick. The dude has made every other clutch kick there is. Didn't he have like 5 game winning kicks in 2003. If he missed those, there is no playoffs that year and there is no superbowl. I mean I know you're frustrated, but atleast try to have some valid points for your argument. You have none, and therefore lose all your credibility.

And you are simply being a blind homer and therefore lose all your credibilty. In the biggest regular season game in Panther history he missed the game winner. In the biggest playoff game in Panther history he bricked a frickin' kickoff.

Are you fuging kidding??? That kick in the Superbowl led to our loss...it didn't cause it but it certainly didn't hlep. His miss tongiht cost us the game. He should be stripped naked and whipped by gay midgets. He makes 5 times what I make so I reserve the right to ridicule the choker.

I never said he was the only problem now did I? I just have zero confidence in the guy when we absolutley have to have a big kick. He can make a ton of kicks when we are up by 14 points. He struggles when its crunch time on a big stage.

Struggling on a big stage is that "idiot kicker" that ruined the Colts hopes in '05, Mike Vanderjagt. His cleanly held, short 33 yard FG was as far wide right as I have ever seen. Kasay's kick tonight? Knocked a little too far left by 15-20 MPH wind in sub-freezing temps from 50 yards away.

I'm sorry that Adam Vinateri hasn't been cloned 32 times and given to every NFL roster (and I honestly wouldn't take him over Kasay, as his regular season record is a bit worse).

And yes, he makes a heck of a lot of money to kick a stupid ball, but you'll never do it, I'll never do it, and that's life.

I would trade Kasey for Vinateri or Vanderjagt 100 times out of 100. They may be able to kick off as well opening the roster spot held by Lloyd.

So how do you explain him kicking the ball out of bounds in the Super Bowl? No fugiing wind there.

Go outside right now, find a football, stick in in a tee, and kick the sucker down your street. You tell me that you kicked it 60 yards in a straight line and then come back and ask that stupid, asinine question. Oh, and pretend that you're trying to give a it a bit of extra oomph on the biggest stage to help your team the best you can.

Oh, and I think you forget that he had just kicked an XP to help us tie the game right before.

He's blown kicks in probably the biggest regular season game of his life and the biggest game of his life period. Not clutch.

Clutch is a car part. In football, you just have 11 men doing the best they can with what they have. Stop buying into the mythical qualities that the NFL loves to cram down our throats so we suspend disbelief and think that this is something more than a kid's game being played by grown men for our entertainment.

Sheesh.

You guys have got to be the stupidest people ever, if you think the guy isn't clutch, you either are autistic or have teh downs. The guy has won games more times then your mothers have taken money shots to the dome.

And thats alot.

Are you even reading the posts???? Nobody said he hasn't won games!! The point is that he struggles in BIG games like tonite.

He's actually more like your mother in that regard. He chokes on the big ones.

Your opinion of him is too high. I love the guy too, don't get me wrong. He is one of the nicest and most decent guys on the team. I'm just being realistic as to his ability to make clutch kicks in the biggest of games.

Kasay has made a lot of clutch kicks. And the Superbowl kick didn't matter. New England went thru our defense like hot knife thru butter, they would have gotten the yardarge regardless.

Kasay made a 50 yarder in the superbowl. Thats pretty clutch.

You mean to tell me that just because the games mean more in some arbitrary way in the standings that both teams will play the game differently? It's a game. You win some, you lose some, you play to win every single time. If anyone else in the league says otherwise, than they are a disgrace to the sport.

BIG games are big only in the eyes of the people blabbing about them. The teams play them the same as every other game.

I respectfully disagree my friend. Field position always matters. Especially when time is running short.
