Allow me to clear up the confusion.. We have a need at olb and pass rusher. This is probably Thomas Davis's last year (and he's suspended the first 4 games). Peppers is almost 40 and we lack pass rushing depth anyway. 

Most importantly, Haynes had 32 sacks at ole miss which is the record for the school! Anyone who follows college football knows that's insane. Let's also not forgot he did that playing in the SECW!

Love the pick and the draft as a whole for the Panthers.
