Day 3 general draft chatter

I liked the 2 offensive picks very much but REALLY thought Hurney would go more offense in this draft.  Not too bad as long as CAP plays awesome or we get another RB somewhere.

No. 24 — D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland - A
No. 55 — Donte Jackson, CB, LSU - B+
No. 85 (from BUF) — Rashaan Gaulden, DB, Tennessee - B-
No. 88 — Traded to Green Bay Packers for picks 101, 147  (F hated the move down but whatever)
No. 101 — Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana - A
No. 136 — Marquis Haynes, DE, Ole Miss - B
No. 161 — Jermaine Carter, LB, Maryland - C
No. 234 (from LAC) — Andre Smith, LB, North Carolina - B
No. 242 — Kendrick Norton, DT, Miami (FL) - A

Could be worse.

Speaking to RB - must say - No RBs were really there to pick (if they didn't like Bo) just fell wrong.  Penny, Chubb and Michel went earlier than I thought.  Didn't love Guice can't fault them there either.

The “we have a contingent plan for every situation” Translates to “fug it, we will just draft 15 LB’s”. No OL.  No RB. I can work with some of the rationale for the earlier guys.  Fozzy being a 3rd option tells you all you need to know about our RB depth.  We signed Shirley and Banner. Maybe they think they can do something with him.   But no RB?

Better have a line for Shaun Wilson and So eone else for UDFA.

Bo Scarbrough in the 7th made more sense than a 7th round linebacker

Yep...nothing says NFL power run game like CAP and Fozzy.

I gotta think we are picking up someone else at RB.  Need at least 1 more back.  I could see them giving Samuel a few carries from back there in a scat back type role as well.  Need a big body RB though.
