Really tired of Hurney grabbing guys in one position and then moving them to another in the pros. He did it a lot before and he's doing it now.

He played DE in college and he’s playing DE for us (already confirmed by the team).

Yeah I got nothing then. Literally can’t play anything but 3rd and long and end of game guaranteed passing type situations at his size.

If he puts on some weight and develops he theoretically could develop into a solid role player like Addison if he already has a nose for getting to the qb. Him and Cam Wake both started really small and then worked their way up to being beasts. Dunno if this kid can, but fug it whatever.

All the other moves I get, even the trade down, but this one, especially to trade up?

This one is a head scratcher.  We pass on several guys in the 250 LB range that do the same thing, like Landry, but go for a guy 60 lbs smaller than Peppers.

And if he goes on the field only on third downs, what NFL 240 LB fullback could not stop him?

That's what I see for him. You don't need your DE's to play every down.

Yeah, but if he is "a one trick pony" rushing specialists, won't everyone in the state know what he is going to do when he comes in?

Unless he gains 20lbs, he will be unable to. If he doesn't, he'll have to play OLB or else his time with us will be short. He will get pushed around. On the other hand, Rivera does like trying to force things to happen that proves to fail over and over again. So he could last longer than he should.
