The only reason he is never included in the same conversation as some of the other top tight ends is because he needs to polish his game. But, that’s doable and once it happens, he could be as good as any tight end selected in the 2018 NFL Draft.

People who think this is a bad pick strictly look at stats and don't understand the end goal. Thomas might be the best blocking tight end with the most upside outside Gesicki and Dallas

Good pick he was projected to go in the third. Feeling better about the Hurney trade down now. Blocking is good not great and he catches well, not a ton of speed though.
