Also says that they believe in Dashon Hall( over Chad Thomas.Duke Ejifor) and look at him as a fresh draft pick to come in at DE.

A fresh draft pick that's been training under Pep and Addison for a year.

Even if so, our DE corps desperately needs another for depth and the future.

Cuts maybe our best option for a contributing DE depth player for this season.

in essence Hall is basically still a rookie...

Better then a rookie he should know the playbook etc.

Basically if our 3rd would've been Ronnie Harrison instead of the guy we picked people would be loving this draft

Naw not after further consideration Harrison wouldn't impact our roster glad we didn't waste that pick we needed what we got coverage skills to improve our PASS D.

I don't see what the confusion is?

Olsen is known to have lost a step but he is a prolific route runner and has a knack for knowing how to find the holes in the defense.

This isn't the same tight end who ran a 4.47 in 2007.

His two highest average yards per reception seasons were 2015 and 2016. He averaged 11.2ypc last season with a limited sample size. His career average is 11.8. He averaged 13.4ypc in the playoff game which was what he averaged in 2016 which was his 2nd highest YPC season.

Yeah, he's probably not as fast as he was as a rookie, but he still has above average speed for a TE.

The American part is the inclusive part the African parr isn't a label it's who we are.. Just remember that.  Italian Americans,  Native Americans, Irish Americans all get to celebrate their heritage.. So do we.

Jesus Christ shut up. Nobody cares.  Talk about the pick or go away.

Olsen's speed isnt as relevant as his inability to ever break a tackle.

No, he isn't a great YAC TE, but honestly there aren't many great YAC TEs. What Olsen does is get open, catch passes, and he can stretch the field at the TE position. He's truly one of the best TEs in the NFL.

The last thing I worry about in a TE is 'lost a step'.

I like the Thomas pick. He needs to glue himself to Olsen and soak up everything he's got to offer.

His hardships and family circumstances work very well imo not that he wouldn't give it his all no matter what but when you have those extreme situations you sometimes you have that extra hunger. The less hanging out more studying the playbook type of hunger just my feelings no factual evidence was used to obtain reasoning.
